Ferrite Bobbin cores provide a convenient means of winding RF chokes. Their open magnetic path can handle more current than toroids before the core saturates. These bobbin cores have leads already inserted at both axial ends.Excellent for making your own small chokes.
A_L (nH/Square Turn or nH/N²) is the A_L value.
L is inductance in nH (nanohenries)
N is the number of turns of a wire
Required turns (N) = square root of (desired 'L' /'A_L'), √'L' /'A_L', or 1000 turns=$\sqrt{\mathrm{\text{'}mH\text{'}\; /\text{'}A_L\text{'}}}$, (square rooted)
CWS ByteMark Part Number is the part number to use to place purchase order. 1 inch = 25.4 mm
O.D. is the outer diameter
I.D. is the inside diameter
HT is the height
