The Power Ratings listed in the shopping cart below are conservative, based on 20 Khz switching frequency.
CWS Bytemark carries many other types of shaped cores such as EFD, EPD, etc. These can be rated for 100 Khz to 500 Khz.
A_L (nH/Square Turn or nH/N²) is the A_L value.
L is inductance in nH (nanohenries)
N is the number of turns of a wire
Required turns (N) = square root of (desired 'L' /'A_L'), √'L' /'A_L', or 1000 turns=$\sqrt{\mathrm{\text{'}mH\text{'}\; /\text{'}A_L\text{'}}}$, (square rooted)
CWS ByteMark Part Number is the part number to use to place purchase order. 1 inch = 25.4 mm
O.D. is the outer diameter
I.D. is the inside diameter
HT is the height
